- Provides self-help groups, newsletter, advocacy, and educational services to families and friends of persons experiencing mental or emotional disabilities.
- Also provides a county-wide telephone referral service utilizing a team of clinically trained administrators to provide information, referrals, and telephone crisis intervention.
Family and Friends Together- A Monthly meeting that provide advocacy, support, education, and information for families of adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at MHA from 7:00-8:30 P.M. Call 342-1200 EXT. 1238 for further information.
Family Ties- A monthly meeting that provides advocacy, educational services, resources and supports to families who have children/adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. The group meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at MHA from 7:00-8:30 P.M. Call 342-1200 EXT. 1248 for further information.
