SUPPORT GROUPS SPONSORED BY MHA PAGE 2

  • Inclusion Information Network - for sharing ideas, information and experiences relating to inclusive education for students with disabilities.  Meetings are held one Monday evening a month, from  7:00 - 9:30 p.m. at SETRC Conference Room A, Orange-Ulster BOCES located on Gibson Road in Goshen.

  • Residential Issues Discussion Group-  for families of adults living in OMRDD certified residences meets 4th Tuesday of the month.

  • Rehablilitatiive Social Club Daytime and evening community socialization programs for adults with mental illness held weekly in Middletown and Port Jervis.  Transportation is provided.

  • Survivors of Sexual Trauma Educational Group - Support Group for adult, female survivors of Rape, Sexual Assault & Incest at MHA-Hudson House located at 245 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550.

         Group is approximately 1 hour.       

  • Survivors of Sexual Trauma Clinical Group - Adult women survivors of sexual trauma deal with emotional issues resulting from sexual abuse led by a trained social worker  Meets Thursdays at 5:00pm at MHA located at 20 Walker Street, Goshen, NY 10924.

  • Super Siblings - provides education, information and support for siblings of children with developmental disabilities.  Meets once a month on Saturday morning with a professional facilitator.
     
  • Tourette Syndrome - Networking Group for Parents of individuals with Tourette Syndrome. Meetings are informal with occasional guest speakers on relevant topics.  Meet with other parents to share information, experiences, ideas and provide mutual support.  Meeting the 4th Thursday of alternative months. .
